Welcome to Wales Public Sector Waste Production Survey
This year the Welsh Assembly Government is carrying out a survey of how much waste the Public Sector produces in Wales.
This survey is the first in a series of Waste Production Surveys that will be undertaken by the Welsh Assembly Government measuring Public Sector bodies in Wales that will help us to understand the types and quantities of waste produced from Public Sector organisations in 2007, monitor resource efficiency, influence waste policy and strategy as well as being useful to identify where areas of funding and additional resources are required to assist development of waste management programmes.
Organisations that produce large amounts of waste can contact the survey team and arrange for onsite assistance. Organisations producing less waste can have the survey completed by telephone at their convenience.
