Welsh Assembly Government is responsible for the day-to-day concern of the people living in Wales.

Welsh National Assembly: Assembly Members elected by the people of Wales with power to make legislation.

Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) represents the interests of local authorities in Wales. The three fire and rescue authorities, four police authorities and three national park authorities are associate members.

Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI): At the heart of information policy, setting standards, delivering access and encouraging the re-use of public sector information. OPSI provides a wide range of services to the public, information industry, government and the wider public sector relating to finding, using, sharing and trading information.

Environment Agency Wales: The leading public body for protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales.

The Carbon Trust  helps businesses and the public sector cut carbon emissions and supports the development of low carbon technologies.

WRAP helps individuals, businesses and the public sector reduce waste and recycle more, making better use of resources and helping to tackle climate change.

Cylch is an umbrella organisation formed in 1997.  Cylch promotes and supports partnership-led, community-based, sustainable reosurce management initiatives as the practical and effective solutions to Welsh waste problems.

Chartered Institute of Waste Management is the professional body for waste management professionals, setting standards for individuals employed in the waste management industry.

Value Wales is a division of the Department for Public Services and Performance, established as a result of the Making the Connections Review of Public Services in 2004 and the Delivering the connections Action Plan published in 2005.

Business in the Community: An independent business led charity that works with UK companies committed to improving their impact on society.

Environmental Data Information Exchange (E.D.I.E): An online news and information service for professionals in the water, energy and environment sectors.
